New Life If we think of new experiences as similar to the stages of pregnancy, our perspective can strongly impact our relationship to that experience. Each pregnancy has an initiation, (a thought) an action,(conception) a gestation (development & integration) a labor (challenge) and a birth (manifestation). The pregnancy itself is a perfect expression of the union of feminine (wisdom,nurturing & creativity) and masculine (compassion,strength & manifestation) within us all. Each stage of the pregnancy has its time frame as the being within grows, and we honor and nurture that - despite the discomforts and pain it might cause. It may be helpful to accept the inevitable and sometimes painful changes in our lives as stages of pregnancy repeating themselves and determine which stage we are in. If we do this, we can also see what energies are at play for that time period or situation,recognize if we are flowing with or halting the natural process and call on the correct attributes of male or female to bring balance. In the family of sacred sound instruments the Dorje and Ganta are there to move the masculine and feminine energies within us in a manner that breaks up stuck energy and balances the attributes of male/female within us. Holding the ganta in the left hand and the dorje in the right, while moving them from knees to a crossed position over the chest during a meditation, a prayer, a toning etc is effective in balancing the male and female energies. As you hold each instrument, really take the time to call in the energies it symbolizes so it can awaken them within you. Tools for Wholeness
